The VOLSUN 3rd Generation Shaft Grounding Ring (Conductive Ring) is born precisely for this purpose—we do not engage in circuit design but focus on material science and structural design as our innovation points, offering a stable, low-resistance grounding pathway for motor shaft currents.


 

Material Level: Comprehensive Performance Enhancement from Conduction to Weather Resistance

  • Aluminum Ring Base: Utilizes aluminum alloy, striking a balance between lightweight design, processability, and cost, while offering excellent mechanical properties and weather resistance.
  • Fiber Mount: Also made from aluminum alloy, it boasts strong corrosion resistance and excellent weldability, providing stable support for the conductive fibers.
  • Conductive Fibers: Made from imported original filament carbon fibers treated with metalized coating, featuring the following key characteristics:
  • High Conductivity: Single-strand fibers possess 12,000 or more contact points, with linear resistance as low as 1.1Ω/m.
  • Strength: Tensile strength easily exceeds 3000 MPa.
  • Temperature Resistance: Stable performance within a range of -40°C to 200°C.
  • Oil and Salt Spray Resistance: Resistant to common gearbox oils and capable of passing stringent salt spray tests.

  • Low-Resistance Pathway: Static resistance <1Ω, dynamic contact resistance <10Ω, ensuring stable and efficient current conduction.
  • Shaft Current Bypass Mechanism: Directs shaft currents to the motor housing for grounding through conductive fibers, effectively preventing bearing electrical corrosion.
  • Full-Life Reliable Contact: The fibers exhibit strong wear resistance, maintaining persistent and tight contact with the motor shaft, reliably ensuring the motor's performance throughout its lifespan.
