Silicone rubber cold shrink tube is higher temperature resistant than epdm rubber cold shrink tube, also the shrink ratio could reach 3.5:1 or 4:1, sealing and insulation function is excellent.
 

For antenna feeder, it’s always have to use different sizes connectors for transform when the feeder line is not long enough or the devices connect is not available. cold shrink tube is playing an important role in the feeder connectors protection. An experienced engineer prefer to use silicone rubber cold shrink tube for protection, because it’s soft, high temperature resistant, weather resistant and UV resistant.
